After a creative break of two years Sigi continues in 2010 to work extensively with Mamadou Diabate. Their intense perfomances took place in as varied places as village squares in rural Burkina Faso, Jazzclubs, Jazz Festivals, World Music Festivals throughout Europe, classical concert halls in Russia and even at the World Performing Arts Festival in Lahore/Pakistan, about 70 concerts in 3 years.

In April they presented their new DUO-CD "Yala - The journey" in Casinos Austria's Studio 44 in Vienna. Guest musicians on stage were Willi Resetarits, Insinghisi and Roland Guggenbichler.

Many thanks to our sponsors who made this recording possible!

The CD came out on ATS records. Soundfiles can be heard here !
