
After a long, long time Sigi had the chance to play again with
Tomasz Stanko, who was portrayed in April in Vienna's Porgy & Bess Jazzclub. The other band members were: Fritz Pauer, Peter Herbert, Wolfgang Reisinger & Johannes Herrlich.

Sigi started a new project! Audioscape brings together Bengali singer and harmonium-player Allan Kräuter and his
"Theatre of Listening" with Tunisian percussionist Raouf Kahouli and Viennese guitarist Miki Liebermann. The first concerts were scheduled for April. Further Infos

In January 09 Sigi was featured soloist in the Big Band of Slovakian Guitar player
Matus Jacabcic. The concert took place in the Philharmony hall of Bratislava (incl. CD-recording!).
After that another
Tour with the Solo-Program was scheduled.

In fall
2008 Sigi presented in cooperation with Flamenco Guitar player
Antonio Andrade a new Flamenco production both live and on CD. The dates of the tour are

As a consequence of various internal problems and a tragic event on the last tour in July 2008 Sigi has decided to dissolve the "African Heart" band.

Sigi has released his first SOLO-CD in September 2007. On this record he's creating a sound universe (via multi-track proceeding) just with his saxophones, flutes, kalimba and tiny bits of percussion, which is taking the listeners to various "Scenes & Places" (as being the title of the CD). The CD came out on

Sigi played as guest in the band of Brazilian singer/songwriter
Celia Mara in July 07 in the Vienna State Opera House - this concert was part of the Vienna Jazz Festival!

Sigi was invited to produce an opening performance for the Austrian Festival
Wellenklänge in July 2007. The perfomance will be entiteld
Black Music and features traditional African Music in combination with choir and horns - plus for a special appearance the Breakdance Company
