 The Art of Being a Power-GangSigi and Joseph met in 1996 at the hotel of the Ingolstadt Jazz Festival/Germany and started talking about a joint project called "Doop Troop". Both are known for their energetic stage performance. They each have great reputations as bandleaders, composers and instrumentalists. In addition, both are searching for new ways to combine their music with the up-to-date sounds of Rap, Drum'n'Bass and Hip-Hop. The band performed 1998 -2001 on various festivals (Salzburg, Ingolstadt, Waidhofen, Sloupsk) and toured Austria, Germany, Italy and Poland. The CD "Don't tell me" was released 1999 by Sony/Columbia. |
